Tara and Fela Durotoye Speak at Stanford University

They both have to be Nigeria's power couple in the entrepreneurial world. While one is a motivational speaker, the other is the CEO of one of the most
successful, indigenous makeup brands in Nigeria' House of Tara.

They have both attained Boss Heights in the world of business but according to Tara, she gets nervous when she has to speak and her husband is there. She made this known while she gave a speech at ivy league school, Stanford University.

When @feladurotoye and I became a tag team speaking at the Stanford University program for African entrepreneurs.
Fela taught a class of 60 entrepreneurs from across Africa from SA to Burkina Faso on “Institutionalizing a Leadership culture within your organization”
And yours truly came to validate the principles that he taught using the “House Of Tara Case study”. I used to be nervous when I know my hubby is listening to me speak but I think I overcame it today .
I didn’t look in his direction when I was speaking though 😀
They exemplify one of the rules of Boss Heights success......choose your partner wisely. They can either make you mediocre of bring out the best in you.
